Rethinking the Role of Paraeducators & Strategies to Implement Inclusive Practices District-Wide June 20, 2009 -- - 10:30 to 12:30 PM - Michael Giangreco, Ph. D. at The Arc of Crawford County in Meadville Michael Giangreco, Ph. D. will facilitate the morning discussion, via telephone conference, on the effective use of paraeducators. He is an expert on paraeducators and has authored several books on ideas for inclusion and is with the Center on Disability and Community Inclusion at the University of Vermont. Advanced reading will spur the discussion on rethinking the role of paraeducators covering the support needed for professional development and the student's perspective. He will be open to further explore these issues and discuss his philosophy with those joining the conversation.
